BaFin Pop-Up Embassy

The BaFin Pop-up Embassy returned to TechQuartier in June 2026, following a successful first edition with 12 startups at the end of 2025.

On 17 June 2026, founders had the opportunity to connect directly with BaFin in one-on-one meetings lasting 30–45 minutes. In an informal setting, they were able to discuss questions around potential licensing requirements, the EU’s Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCAR), and other relevant regulatory topics.

The format offered startups a valuable opportunity to address regulatory questions directly, free of charge and without obligation — helping them make more informed decisions around growth and strategy.

Participants also gained exclusive insights, practical guidance, and direct access to Germany’s financial supervisory authority.

Following the strong interest in the format, further editions are planned.
