What is this?

The Idea Camp Hackathon is a free program designed to help German founders think about serious societal challenges in AgTech and FoodTech.

Initiated by the Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank and the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (BMEL), this collaboration brings together experts, founders, investors and educators to share their knowledge and experiences.

One Day

Preparation Phase - Find your team & prepare for the Hackathon

What is offered:

Whether you already have an idea or not, the preparation phase is where you will find your Co-Founders and assemble a team. We will provide you with resources - articles, videos and online courses - so that you are perfectly prepared for the upcoming hackathon.

Three Days

Hackathon Weekend - Develop your idea & pitch your business model

What is offered

Now it’s time to work intensively with your team on your idea within one weekend, develop it into a business model and then pitch it in front of a selected jury. Mentors and experts will be available at any time to support you through the different development phases. On the last day, you will pitch your idea in front of a jury and a winner will be crowned.
