On 5 October 2026, we welcomed the new Hessen10 cohort to TechQuartier in Frankfurt. Selected from around 50 applications, the ten startups represent six cities across Hessen and work in a wide range of industries, from artificial intelligence and mobility to agriculture, energy and financial services.
While their business models and technologies differ, they share a common goal: taking their businesses to the next stage of growth.
That's exactly where Hessen10 comes in. Over the next five months, the program will support the startups in identifying growth opportunities, refining their strategies and preparing for their next business milestones.
Through hands-on workshops, individual coaching, mentoring and exchanges with experienced founders and industry experts, participants will work the next five months on topics such as growth metrics, scaling, negotiation and fundraising.
The program kicked off with startup pitches and networking on 5 October 2026, followed by a full-day Growth Metrics Workshop on 6 October 2026 with Annamaria Pino. It will conclude on 15 February 2027 with a Fundraising Day, where the startups will have the opportunity to present their progress and connect with investors.
Meet the 2026 cohort.
90green | Frankfurt
Climate change is creating new challenges for cities and businesses. But understanding where action is needed most requires the right data.
90green uses high-resolution Earth observation data, algorithms and geospatial analysis to turn complex environmental information into actionable insights.
Its technology helps identify urban heat islands, monitor green infrastructure, assess sealed surfaces and track environmental changes over time.
By making climate risks more visible and measurable, 90green aims to help municipalities and businesses prioritize adaptation measures and evaluate their long-term impact.
cosy.green | Frankfurt
Heating existing residential buildings more efficiently does not always have to begin with a full-scale renovation.
cosy.green provides heating optimization solutions for the residential real estate sector, offering property owners an alternative that can be implemented at a fraction of the cost of major building renovation.
Through a subscription model that can be allocated through service charges, the startup aims to create benefits across the equation: lower operating costs for tenants, greater property value for owners and landlords, and reduced CO₂ emissions.
Team: Alex Hirsch, Mikhail Gunkov, Gabriel Nelle and Kristina Kaplin
ENVIOTECH | Bad Vilbel
What if existing streetlights could become the foundation for smarter, more energy-efficient cities?
ENVIOTECH is turning conventional street lighting into connected infrastructure through compact retrofit modules.
Its technology enables centralized control, real-time monitoring and demand-based dimming. Optional camera-free radar sensors can detect movement and automatically adjust lighting levels when needed.
For municipalities and utilities, this means an opportunity to reduce energy consumption and light pollution while improving the management of public lighting infrastructure.
innocept mobility | Frankfurt
As electric mobility expands, operating charging infrastructure is becoming increasingly complex.
innocept mobility is developing OmniCharge, a platform designed to simplify and automate the management of EV charging networks.
The solution brings together charging point administration, billing, payment processing, roaming and intelligent charging and load management in one system.
By combining automation with AI-powered capabilities, innocept mobility aims to help charging infrastructure operators improve availability, streamline operations and scale their networks more efficiently.
emulvent | Haiger
Sometimes industrial impact starts with rethinking a process that has changed surprisingly little.
Founded in Haiger in 2026 by Björn Moos and Thilo Schäfer, emulvent® is developing a patent-pending airlift reactor technology that continuously aerates and circulates metalworking fluids used in areas including machining, optics manufacturing and diamond grinding.
The technology is designed to extend the useful life of emulsions while reducing the need for biocides, water and disposal — with the additional aim of creating healthier working environments.
With a patent application filed, an initial distribution partner and a major German industrial group as a reference customer, the founders are now working to bring their technology to a wider industrial market. emulvent is also developing a sensor solution based directly on its passive airlift principle.
Founders: Björn Moos and Thilo Schäfer
OptiMigration | Darmstadt
Immigration processes often involve complex requirements, extensive documentation and lengthy waiting times.
OptiMigration is developing an AI-powered platform designed to make these processes easier for applicants, businesses and public authorities.
The platform guides applicants through their cases, checks documents for completeness and plausibility, assesses relevant legal requirements and supports organizations in processing applications.
By reducing errors and manual administrative work, OptiMigration aims to accelerate immigration procedures and make them more transparent and accessible.
Panocular.AI | Frankfurt
Computer vision is becoming essential to technologies ranging from robotics to autonomous vehicles. But many applications still rely on multiple specialized AI models to perform different visual tasks.
PanocularAI is developing multimodal AI technology that brings several visual perception capabilities together in a single system.
Its models can perform tasks such as object detection, image segmentation and depth estimation without requiring separate models for each function.
The goal is to make advanced computer vision more efficient, scalable and less resource-intensive, opening up new possibilities for robotics, autonomous driving and industrial applications.
Pflanzentheke | Lorsch
Growing fresh vegetables year-round while using fewer resources is one of the challenges facing modern agriculture.
Pflanzentheke is developing modular, soil-free hydroponic farming systems for professional vegetable production.
Its turnkey solutions can be integrated into greenhouses, indoor facilities and polytunnels, combining vertical or horizontal cultivation with proprietary monitoring and control technology.
By creating controlled growing environments, Pflanzentheke aims to enable more predictable harvests throughout the year while reducing water, fertilizer and land consumption.
PreserviTec | Frankfurt
Bridges, buildings and other infrastructure need regular inspections to remain safe. But conventional inspections can be time-consuming, costly and sometimes difficult to carry out.
PreserviTec is developing an AI-powered solution to identify structural damage and changes at an early stage.
By combining drone imagery, satellite data and artificial intelligence, the technology analyzes large volumes of visual information to detect anomalies and potential damage.
The goal is to make infrastructure inspections safer, more efficient and more proactive, helping operators plan maintenance and repairs before minor issues become major problems.
SINTRO | Frankfurt
Investment decisions are often influenced by human judgment, emotions and market uncertainty. SINTRO is taking a systematic approach.
The startup is developing Systematic-Traded Funds that combine scientific models, algorithmic order execution and data-driven investment strategies.
By automating key elements of asset management, SINTRO aims to reduce behavioral biases and create more scalable, transparent investment processes.
Its approach is designed to bring systematic investment strategies to professional investors through a more automated and technology-driven framework.
