Community Member of the Month: Revoltech

We’re excited to announce that Revoltech is our October Community Member of the Month! Hailing from our Growth Alliance alumni network, Revoltech is making waves in the textile industry with its sustainable innovations. We had a chance to sit down with the team and learn more about their journey, mission, and exciting new projects. Let’s dive in!

Tell us the story of Revoltech: What do you do exactly, and how did you find your way to it?
Revoltech was founded in 2021 after we couldn’t turn a blind eye any longer to the environmental impact of the textile industry. Our mission is to create a sustainable revolution in textiles with our material, LOVR™. It’s a plant-based, biodegradable, and recyclable material made from hemp residues. By using LOVR™, we aim to demonstrate that responsible, sustainable alternatives to traditional textiles are both viable and necessary. We found a way to create a 100% biobased material that is also scalable.

What led you to join TechQuartier? What do you like the most about being a Member?
We joined TechQuartier because we wanted to be part of an innovative and inspiring community that pushes boundaries. The networking opportunities and learning from other startups and industries have been invaluable. We also appreciate the vibrant events that help us continuously improve and grow.

Any exciting news or projects to share with us?
In addition to our collaboration with Volkswagen, we recently partnered with the Swiss watch company ID Genève. This partnership is allowing us to bring our material into the luxury watch industry by creating eco-conscious solutions. We also won the Green Product Award 2024 for LOVR™, which was a huge recognition for our work. We’re exploring new partnerships in various industries that we’re really excited about!

1. Volkswagen Partnership: Revoltech's collaboration with Volkswagen has been a highlight in 2024. The companies are working together to develop LOVR, a 100% bio-based, recyclable, and compostable leather alternative made from industrial hemp waste.
