The third TQ Accelerator: Digital Finance opens doors for later-stage startups
The TQ Accelerator: Digital Finance connected 15 European startups with our partners in Frankfurt’s financial center. In its third edition, the Accelerator ran over seven weeks and offered workshops, networking events, partner visits, one-on-one sessions with BaFin representatives and an investor dinner.
The participating companies ranged from seed-stage startups to scale-ups. Their solutions spanned AI-enabled fintech, payments, cybersecurity, compliance, and wealth management.

“The Accelerator gave us a much better feel for the German market and helped us start building our network there. Highly recommended for any FinTech startup looking to expand into Germany.”
- Sascha Gysel, Co-Founder at Trenda
Our Partners
Baker McKenzie, KPMG, Helaba, Swift, GFT, Deka, VR Payment, Visa, EY and neosfer partnered with us to develop this Accelerator.
Throughout the program, startups had the opportunity to pitch directly inside the headquarters of key partners such as KPMG, Baker McKenzie, and Helaba. In our space, the batch also pitched to KPMG, VR Payment, GFT, and Visa.
Only in Frankfurt
What truly sets our Accelerator apart is its rare access to Germany’s top regulatory institutions. We hosted an exclusive roundtable with BaFin, Germany’s Federal Financial Supervisory Authority. The batch also visited the Deutsche Bundesbank’s InnoWerk innovation lab, where participants discussed the future of European finance, including the digital euro project.
“For me, the Accelerator stands out because of the people behind it. It is deeply rooted in Frankfurt and supported by Program Partners and Program Board members who are genuinely committed to helping founders succeed. They contribute not only their expertise and networks, but also their time, trust and openness. This creates a special atmosphere in which honest conversations can quickly develop into real opportunities, partnerships and lasting relationships. In my opinion, no other program combines these elements as effectively.” - Philip Viertel, Innovation Lead Finance, TechQuartier
