18:30-19:00 Doors open, networking

19:00-19:30 Introduction into IBM Blockchain for Business – Elke Kunde, IBM

19:30-20:00 IBM Blockchain World Wire – Thomas Hartmann, IBM
Let’s clear and settle cross-border payments in seconds – not days
Introducing IBM Blockchain World Wire, the new financial rail that simultaneously clears and settles cross-border payments in near real-time. Integrating with your existing payment systems, you’ll replace costly opacity with affordable transparency – and that can bring greater financial opportunity to all.

20:00-20:30 Revenue allocation based on blockchain – Moritz von Bonin, DB Systel
In journeys with multiple transport modes, each run by a different provider, purchase and validation of tickets becomes arduous and time-consuming for travelers. Therefore, travelers demand a seamless travel experience: One ticket that can be bought and used at any mobility provider. However, it complicates considerably the revenue sharing process among our customer and its business partners, especially in the event of rebooking or missed connections. Our solution is a seamless blockchain-based mobility service platform to be used by our customer, a mobility service provider in regional public transportation, for ticketing, secure clearing and revenue sharing.

20:30-21:30 Pizza and networking
