About the role :

The recently adopted Masterplan 2022 – supported by the government of Hesse, science and the industry describes, clearly the mission behind TechQuartier’s activities: to become the leading Startup-Hub and FinTech hotspot in Germany. We are therefore looking for passionate individuals determined to help us achieve this goal. Those qualified and experienced individuals will be mandated to take charge of the various steps of the Masterplan, build and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders across the TQ network, and oversee the successful attainment of the various milestones of the Masterplan.

We are looking for a : Startup Ecosystem Manager

The responsibilities attached to the position are to :

Project management
• Manage multiple projects or accounts through their complete lifecycles, and interact appropriately with external & internal parties;
• Actively research, design and create content for acceleration programs (program structure; agenda; potential speakers and prospective participants; communication copy; workshop content);
• Source speakers (founders, executives and experts) and participants (startups & founders) for TechQuartier’s programs
• Work with the TQ Management and Team to support project delivery through the coordination of the different measures and project resources;

Business development
• Acquire sponsors and partners interested in supporting the empowerment of entrepreneurs and the development of the Frankfurt Rhein-Main startup ecosystem;
• Identify, target and document partnership opportunities that support the TechQuartier value proposition;

Relationship building & communication
• Cultivate strong relationships and regular communication with ecosystem partners; identify potential synergies, develop partnerships and win-win collaboration in support of the Masterplan;
• Position yourself as a key ressource within TQ and ensure quality service delivery;
• Create content associated with your role, such as press releases, pitch decks for the purpose of partnership building, business development support documentation and progress reports.


– You hold an academic degree in a relevant business or technical field.

Work experience

– Minimum 2 years of experience in handling multifunctional projects with various entities and stakeholders.

– Proven track record with examples of entrepreneurial spirit and trendsetting/forward-looking projects handled and supervised.

– Experience in project management involving many partners in the private, public or academic sectors and dealing with business imperatives will be strongly valued.

– Full-time position (2 year contract, renewable)
